Deanna Howard of Etna was most recently the vice president of regional development for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center before retiring in 2017. Prior to joining Dartmouth-Hitchcock, she was the chief executive officer at Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook for 13 years. After retiring, Deanna served as interim CEO at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH through 2020. Deanna continues to do consulting work in healthcare.
Deanna has served on numerous boards throughout the region, including those of the NH Forest Society, New Hampshire Public Radio, Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, N.H. Health and Education Authority, NH Hospital Association, Endowment for Health, Crotched Mountain Foundation and Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center.
Deanna joined the Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire (VNH) Board of Trustees in 2022 and brings years of experience and expertise in healthcare.
