Danielle Pierotti, RN, PhD, CENP, is the Chief Clinical Officer for Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire (VNH). Dr. Pierotti joined VNH in October 2019.
As Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Pierotti is responsible for strategic planning, program growth, quality performance, service excellence, and regulatory compliance of post-acute skilled care, telehealth, maternal-child health, pediatrics, long-term care, ACO care coordination, and palliative care and hospice services. Her leadership will help VNH to develop tools and structures needed to transform care delivery in the home and the community. She will work collaboratively with system leaders to develop strategic plans to achieve related goals.
Prior to joining VNH, Dr. Pierotti served as the Vice President of Quality and Research and Acting President and Chief Executive Officer at Elevating HOME/Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA) in Arlington, Virginia. In her roles with VNAA, Dr. Pierotti managed a comprehensive national quality program for populations served by home health and hospice providers and was responsible for fulfilling the organizational mission to become a leader in research focused on care provided in homes.
Dr. Pierotti received her B.S. in Nursing with Honors from the University of Massachusetts, her M.S. in Nursing from Northeastern University, and her PhD in Nursing from University of Utah. She is a Registered Nurse and Certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP).
